The Stray Show provided a sweet reunion for sixspace and Chicago. Despite constantly changing weather and a hectic schedule, we were delighted to introduce our artists to people and make new friends. I really believe that this was a wonderful eye-opening event for many and I hope that it continues to grow and foster in Chicago. The work was mixed, some of it good and some of it not so good, but the enthusiasm level of all who attended was high and the spaces really went all out...it was a little something for everyone. The panel discussion with emerging gallerists was ultra low-key but it was encouraging to speak with other people who are going through the same issues that we are and who are passionate about exhibiting up-and-coming artists. On top of all that, we sold some artwork and that is always a good sign.

It was nice to be back...visited the old space that is now the West Town Chamber of Commerce and was pleased to see that the Obey sticker we put up there nearly three years ago is still holding strong. Thanks to everyone who came out to the four-day fair and who visited our booth...also thanks to TBA for hosting the event and to our old/new friends.
