sixspace is pleased to announce the first solo exhibition by Los Angeles artist, Nathan Cabrera. Cabrera is a versatile artist and with Throwing Rocks at Girls he features new works such as life-sized sculptures, paintings, and print media. The artwork, which includes a seven feet tall three-dimensional bear, a life size female Stormtrooper with a revolving cannon, paintings of girls framed with a target range etched in glass, can prove to be hyper-violent and confrontational but still manage to retain a playful sense of humor. .
