Sarah Cromarty and Karin Weiner

sixspace is proud to announce the major Los Angeles exhibition debut of both Sarah Cromarty (Los Angeles) and Karin Weiner (Brooklyn). Although the finished products of each artist vary in scope and medium, Cromarty and Weiner are exploring the idea of appropriating something that already exists, such as a vintage poster, cut-outs of publications or books, and/or fabric, and re-constructing it into a entirely new creation and environment. Heavily influenced by the aesthetic and idea of the landscape, Cromarty and Weiner will present a new body of work. Continue reading >>
